Operating exclusively online, with no physical offices. Registration in the Swiss commercial register is not required at this time, as this business earns under CHF 100,000 annually, in accordance with Article 36(1) of the Handelsregisterverordnung (HRegV). 

Booking & Payment Terms

A binding contract between you (the lead participant) and Thrill Tours is only formed once your deposit has been received and your booking is confirmed in writing. By paying the deposit or the full amount, you agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself and all other participants included in the booking.

You are responsible for ensuring that all personal details, including full legal names, match the information on each participant’s passport. Any errors must be reported immediately so they can be corrected. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or the cancellation of your booking. If you are booking on behalf of others, you confirm that you have permission to do so and are authorised to share their personal information, agree to these terms, and ensure all payments are made on time.

Provisional Waitlist
You may reserve a place on a tour at no cost while finalising your plans. However, this provisional reservation does not guarantee availability and does not constitute a confirmed booking. No contract is formed until payment is received and the booking is confirmed.

Deposit & Booking Activation
Once the minimum number of participants required for the tour is met, you will be given the opportunity to secure your booking by paying a deposit of €299. This must be paid within 7 days via our secure payment processor, Stripe. If no deposit is received, your space will be offered to another guest. The waitlist operates on a first come first served basis.

Final Payment
For bookings departing in less than 60 days, a deposit is no longer accepted and full payment is required at the time of booking. 

You will receive a reminder approximately 90 days before the tour begins to give you time to make financial arrangements. The full balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure. If the final balance is not paid by the due date, your booking may be cancelled and your deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued in such cases. 

Please note that financial protection, including insolvency insurance, only becomes active once a deposit or full payment has been successfully received.

Fee Transparency
All transaction fees are covered by Thrill Tours and are not passed on to customers.

Age Requirements
All tours offered by Thrill Tours are exclusively for adults. Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of booking. We do not accept bookings from or on behalf of anyone under 18, under any circumstances.

To enforce this policy, we verify the age of all participants before departure using a valid passport or national ID. If you are unable to provide acceptable proof of age, you may be refused participation without refund.

Any personal data collected for age verification or operational purposes is handled securely in accordance with our Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Prices

Tours can be booked directly through the Thrill Tours website or via an authorised agent.

All prices are listed in Euros. Once you have made a booking and paid a deposit, your tour price is locked and will not increase. This applies even for zero cost reservations.

Thrill Tours reserves the right to update the price of any unsold tours at any time. This includes correcting pricing errors or applying promotional discounts. Price changes will not affect existing bookings, and participants are not entitled to retroactive discounts if the price of their tour is later reduced.

We currently accept payments in the following currencies:

  • Euro (€)
  • American Dollar ($)
  • British Pound (£)
  • Swiss Franc (CHF)

Cancellation, Refunds, and Changes

Customer Cancellations
You can cancel at any time during the waitlist period as there is no contractual obligation until the booking is confirmed by deposit. 

Once a deposit or full payment has been received, the contract is formed and the following cancellation conditions apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure: You will receive a refund for any payments made, minus the deposit and any non-refundable costs already incurred on your behalf.

  • Less than 60 days before departure: Payments are no longer refundable due to non-recoverable expenses related to accommodation, park tickets, and other arrangements.

All deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a different tour date or package, subject to availability and approval.

Cancellation charges are calculated based on the date your request is received and represent the estimated losses incurred by Thrill Tours. Any refundable amount will be issued minus these charges.

Company Cancellations
If Thrill Tours cancels a confirmed tour, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to us. If a considerable change occurs within 60 days of departure and no suitable alternative is accepted, you may be entitled to compensation in accordance with applicable travel regulations.

Thrill Tours is not liable for any costs incurred independently in preparation for the tour, such as flights, hotel bookings, visa fees, or other personal arrangements. These are made at your own risk, and should be covered by mandatory travel insurance.

No compensation is payable for changes or cancellations outside our control.

Rescheduling Bookings
Bookings may be rescheduled free of charge during the reservation period (before any payments are made). Once a deposit is paid, rescheduling is subject to availability. Contact us as early as possible if you need to change your dates.

Participant Requirements

Travel Insurance Requirements:
Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants. Proof of valid insurance will be checked upon tour departure. Failure to provide this documentation may result in denied participation until you have purchased the necessary insurance.

Travel insurance is not included in the price of any tour. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to arrange coverage for the entire duration of the trip.

Medical Requirements:
Participants must inform Thrill Tours at the time of booking, of any medical conditions that could affect their ability to travel or take part in theme park activities. It is the responsibility of each participant to assess whether a tour is suitable for them. Thrill Tours is not qualified to provide medical advice or fitness assessments. Each theme park has its own health and safety policies. Parks may restrict access to certain attractions based on medical conditions, and Thrill Tours has no influence over these decisions.

Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

It is the sole responsibility of each participant to ensure that all required travel documents are valid and meet the entry conditions of each country included in the tour.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the final day of your tour with Thrill Tours. All participants must carry valid identification and travel documents at all times and be prepared to present them to authorities, including at border crossings.

Required travel documentation includes:

  • A valid passport
  • Any necessary visas or entry permits
  • Proof of travel insurance
  • Any additional documents required for entry into specific countries

 

Thrill Tours is unable to provide legal advice on passport, visa, or immigration matters. You agree that it is your full responsibility to confirm the validity and accuracy of your documents and to make any necessary arrangements in advance. This goes for everybody in your group. Thrill Tours is not liable for issues arising from incomplete, incorrect, or expired documentation.

Tour Departures & Itinerary Changes

All scheduled Thrill Tours departures with a confirmed deposit are guaranteed to operate as planned. However, this guarantee does not apply in the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent the tour from proceeding, such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or other events beyond our control.

Tour Information and Accuracy
Marketing materials and promotional content may reflect plans made in advance and are subject to change. For the most accurate and up-to-date tour details, always refer to the Thrill Tours website.

Changes Prior to Departure
Thrill Tours may occasionally need to make changes to your tour prior to departure. These may include alterations to hotel arrangements or destination parks. If a significant change to your tour is required, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will then have the option to accept the revised itinerary, cancel your booking for a full refund of all payments made, or switch to an alternative tour of equal or greater value at no additional cost. If a less expensive tour is selected, Thrill Tours will refund the difference in value.

Changes After Departure
Once a tour has commenced, further changes may occur due to operational, logistical, or safety-related issues. These may include route adjustments, hotel substitutions, transport changes, or park schedule modifications. All final decisions are made by Thrill Tours and are implemented to maintain the safety, comfort, and overall quality of the experience.

Theme Park Operations
Theme park operations are subject to change without notice due to maintenance, weather, technical issues, or internal park decisions. Thrill Tours cannot guarantee the availability of specific rides or experiences on any given day. By booking, you acknowledge that some attractions may be closed or inaccessible during your visit, and no refunds or compensation will be provided for such changes.

Guest Responsibility
Participants are responsible for bringing sufficient funds to cover personal expenses during the tour. Thrill Tours is not liable for financial losses resulting from inadequate preparation, personal emergencies, or any costs incurred due to a guest’s own actions or failure to follow these Terms.

Included / Excluded

Included:

  • Park Tickets: Admission to all scheduled theme parks featured in the tour itinerary.
  • Transport: Ground transport in a private 8-passenger vehicle provided by a licensed third-party transport company.
  • Accommodation: Pre-booked hotel stays for the duration of the tour, based on shared twin rooms unless otherwise specified.

 

Excluded:

  • Travel To Start Location: Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to the official start point of the tour. Transport is only provided from the moment the tour begins. Custom pick-up or drop-off requests cannot be accommodated.
  • Travel Insurance: Travel insurance is mandatory and must be arranged by each participant. For full details, refer to the section titled Participation Requirements.
  • Personal Expenses: Thrill Tours does not cover food, beverages, souvenirs, or any personal costs during the trip. These are the responsibility of each participant.

Hotel Preferences

Thrill Tours will do its best to accommodate guest preferences regarding hotel rooms, and amenities. However, we cannot guarantee that specific requests will always be fulfilled. Hotel selection is based on availability, itinerary requirements, and group logistics.

Unless a specific room type is selected during booking, all accommodations are in shared twin rooms. Requests for single rooms for solo travellers are available at an extra cost, subject to availability.

While we strive to use comfortable, well-rated hotels in convenient locations, substitutions may occasionally be necessary due to operational needs or limited availability. In such cases, alternative accommodation will be of the same standard whenever possible. 

Please note that hotel features, services, and policies are subject to change without notice. Thrill Tours is not responsible for hotel-specific rules outside our control.

Assistance & Medical Support

Thrill Tours is committed to supporting all participants throughout the duration of the tour. In situations where additional help is needed, our team will take appropriate steps to assist, depending on the circumstances. This may include directing you to medical services, facilitating communication with local authorities or embassies, or helping to organise alternative travel arrangements.

Staff members are trained in basic first aid and are familiar with the nearest medical facilities and first aid stations at all partner theme parks. In the case of a minor medical concern, our team can respond quickly and help guide you to qualified care.

Where the situation is not caused by Thrill Tours or its partners, we are not liable for any associated costs. Expenses such as emergency transport, accommodation, or other services must be covered by the participant. You may be able to claim reimbursement from your travel insurance provider directly.

In cases where the issue arises from negligence, misconduct, or intentional actions by you or any member of your group, Thrill Tours reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for the time and resources spent assisting you.

Guest Responsibility & Safety

You are responsible for assessing your own physical fitness and travel suitability. Thrill Tours does not provide guidance on local laws, customs, weather conditions, or specific safety concerns. You travel at your own risk and are expected to make informed decisions.

Participants must comply with all local laws and follow the instructions of Thrill Tours staff. If your behaviour causes danger, serious disruption, or violates the law, we reserve the right to remove you from the tour at your own expense. No refunds will be issued for missed portions of the tour or any additional costs incurred as a result.

You are liable for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning costs caused by you during the trip. Any pre-existing damage must be reported immediately to Thrill Tours or relevant venue staff.

Participants must follow all safety instructions. Thrill Tours and its partners are not responsible for incidents that result from ignoring safety protocols. You accept full responsibility for your own well-being and behaviour throughout the trip and release Thrill Tours from liability for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage that may occur.

Special Requests

Any special requirements must be communicated to Thrill Tours at the time of booking. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your needs, but cannot guarantee that all requests can be fulfilled. Thrill Tours is not liable for any failure to meet specific requirements or preferences.

Driver Conduct

Thrill Tours engages third-party drivers for all transportation services related to our tours. These drivers operate as independent contractors and are not employees of Thrill Tours.

Drivers are not tour guides, nor are they expected or authorised to provide commentary, theme park insight, or any other form of tour guiding services. Any questions related to the tour content, itinerary, or destinations should be directed to your designated Thrill Tours staff member.

  • Driver’s Sole Responsibility: The sole responsibility of the engaged driver is to provide safe and efficient transportation to and from the designated locations as part of your tour itinerary. Drivers are strictly responsible for the operation of their vehicle and adherence to all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
  • Driver Conduct: While drivers are independent, Thrill Tours expects all drivers to maintain a professional manner, adhere to scheduled timings, and ensure the comfort and safety of passengers. We have agreements in place with our drivers to ensure they meet our standards for professionalism and service.
  • Vehicle Standards: All vehicles used by our third-party drivers are properly licensed, insured, and maintained in accordance with local regulations and industry standards to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Thrill Tours website, including text, images, logos, and itineraries, is protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any of this content without written permission from Thrill Tours.

Images used under Creative Commons licenses are clearly credited on the page where they appear, in accordance with the legally required licensing terms.

By participating in a tour, you agree that Thrill Tours may take photographs during the trip and use them for marketing purposes on our website, social media, and other promotional platforms. We will always ask for your consent before taking any photos. No financial compensation will be provided for the use of these images.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your tour leader at any time or email us at ridewithus@thrill.tours. Your request will be fully respected.

Financial Protection & Insolvency Cover

Thrill Tours operates in full compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Package Travel and the EU Package Travel Directive. As required by law, all of our multi-day tours are protected by certified insolvency insurance to safeguard your booking.

This insurance guarantees that, in the unlikely event of Thrill Tours becoming insolvent, any payments you have made will be refunded in full, and where necessary, support will be provided for repatriation or the continuation of your trip.

In accordance with national tourism regulations, full details of our protection certificate and insurance policy are provided with your booking and are also available upon request.

Unlike trust-based models, our protection is backed by an officially recognised Swiss insurance scheme that meets all federal requirements for financial protection in the travel industry. Your funds are covered under this guarantee from the moment any money is exchanged.

Privacy Policy & Data Collection

By booking with Thrill Tours, you acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purpose of processing and managing your booking.

Information Collected:
We collect essential personal data including your full name, date of birth, contact details, billing information, accommodation preferences, and any other information necessary to arrange and deliver your tour. This data enables us to meet our contractual obligations and provide you with a safe and efficient travel experience.

Use and Disclosure of Data:
Your information is processed securely and is only shared with third parties when strictly necessary. For example, to process payments (via Stripe), manage bookings, or improve our website (via tools like Google Analytics). We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes outside Thrill Tours.

GDPR Compliance:
Thrill Tours complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, restrict, or request deletion of your data at any time. Liability Statement

Thrill Tours is responsible for ensuring that the travel services included in your confirmed booking are delivered as agreed and with appropriate care. If we or one of our suppliers fail to meet this obligation, and the issue causes a negative impact on your experience, you may be entitled to compensation. Any such claim must be supported by clear evidence, and the amount of compensation will depend on the severity of the disruption and whether it significantly affected your overall tour.

We are not responsible for issues caused by third parties who are not part of the booked package, or for any situation that could not have been avoided despite reasonable precautions. These situations may include severe weather, natural disasters, political unrest, acts of terrorism, and public health threats such as disease outbreaks.

In any such event, Thrill Tours will not be required to offer compensation or refunds, as these circumstances are beyond our control. Guests are expected to understand and accept this risk when booking.

You must also follow the complaint process outlined in our Terms and Conditions if you wish to raise a concern or request compensation.

We do not take responsibility for services that fall outside your confirmed tour package, including optional experiences arranged locally or services provided independently by accommodation providers or transport operators. Any additional activities you choose to purchase are not covered by these Terms.

Complaints Procedure

Thrill Tours aims to provide an enjoyable and smooth experience for all participants. However, if you are dissatisfied with any part of your tour, you must follow the procedure outlined below:

1. Report the Issue Immediately
If a problem arises during your tour, you must inform your tour leader or a Thrill Tours representative as soon as possible. This gives us the opportunity to investigate the issue and resolve it on the spot. Failure to report the problem at the time may affect your right to claim compensation later.

2. Submit a Written Complaint
If the issue is not resolved during the tour and you wish to pursue the matter further, you must submit a formal complaint in writing. This must be sent to Thrill Tours within 30 days of the final day of your tour. You can send your complaint by email to ridewithus@thrill.tours or via the contact form on our website.

3. Include Relevant Details
Your written complaint should include:

  • Your booking reference number
  • The date and location of the incident
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Any supporting evidence such as photos, receipts, or witness statements

4. Review and Response
Once your complaint is received, we will acknowledge it within 7 days and aim to provide a full written response within 21 days. Complex issues may require more time, in which case you will be notified of the delay.

5. Limitation of Liability
Thrill Tours will not consider complaints submitted outside the 30-day window or those which were not reported during the tour unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Amendements

Thrill Tours reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to stay updated on the latest version of the Terms.
